Christina Wilson, LMT
Christina Wilson grew up in the Pacific Northwest, on a small Island in the San Juans. It was here that she learned the importance of community, and how community can be more like family. This way of living set Christina on the path of service and the journey of healing.
In 2008 Christina began the journey within, to try and understand her place and purpose in life through energy work and plant medicine. Drawn to the subtleties, she found a Reiki Master which helped her to become level III certified. Christina felt that people had the ability within themselves to bring abundance and joy into their lives, by simply taking a moment of rest with gratitude. Christina knew that the healing arts was the direction that made her heart and soul feel complete; which led her to work with an Acupuncturist, who continued to inspire her with the profound Tradition of Chinese Medicine.
Years later, Christina attended the Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy, where she was able to take the deep and integrative path of the Healing arts and sciences. Immersed with Anatomy and Physiology, Christina renewed her inspiration for the bodies innate ability to bring healing to itself, and is honored to hold the space with her clients as a Licensed Massage Therapist. It is her honor to be of Service to those seeking to live a life of well-being.
Christina works with several different modalities to ensure clients are receiving the best techniques to reach their goals. One modality in particular that bring great pride, is she just finished a one year shamanic apprenticeship that weaves in traditions and medicine from the Native American Indian teachings. Through drumming and rattling, Christina journeys and works with Helpers to bring information to clients to give a depth of awareness, that brings about wellness. She loves talking to clients about this lineage of healing and introducing it with massage.
When not with clients, Christina enjoys getting out in nature as much as possible with her dogs. Paddle boarding, swimming, and horseback riding are some of her many hobbies. During the winter, you can usually find her in a good book and making some delicious soup!
