Beth Stone-Ehrhardt: LMT, NMT, CLT

Beth Stone-Ehrhardt grew up in Colorado and considers herself an almost-Native. During her early teens she lived on the Big Island of Hawaii where her biologist father worked to save endangered species. She obtained her BA in English from Regis University in Denver and spent her early career making her living spinning prose from a keyboard.

Getting hit by a car in a crosswalk in downtown Denver taught her first-hand how healing excellent bodywork can be. Shortly after recovering from the accident, she attended the Colorado School of Healing Arts in Lakewood, CO. She pursued a 1000-hour certificate with an emphasis in neuromuscular therapy and cranial sacral work.

Beth deepened her training studying myofascial release (MFR) with MFR pioneer John Barnes and author Til Luchau. She obtained her certificate in lymphedema therapy (CLT) from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy. She also learned Comfort Touch for the ill and dying with Boulder’s Mary Kathleen Rose and spent many years providing nurturing touch for hospice patients during their last hours.

Beth practices Yang long-form tai chi which she studied under Master Moy Lin-Shin. She is equally comfortable providing subtle energy work and clinical massage therapy.

Because Beth has experienced complicated surgery and is a cancer survivor, she feels genuine empathy for people who are in discomfort, are in pain and who are anxious due to physical trauma. She deeply listens to clients to understand exactly what they need. She believes massage therapy is a partnership: When both client and therapist are present together and collaborating for change, lasting healing can occur.
